STRONGER Than Cancer 5K and Celebration of Life Race!

Saturday, October 23, 2021
7:30am at Abacoa
at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter, FL

This dynamic and exciting superhero-themed 5k supports local children and families battling childhood cancer. 100% of the proceeds go to helping the Pediatric Oncology Support Team (POST) fulfill our mission of helping local children and their families courageously fight cancer by giving them compassionate emotional and financial support. POST provides free services to families who have a child battling cancer in six Southeast Florida counties.

This awesome event honors and celebrates the cancer journeys of brave young cancer warriors. This beautiful fast, flat 5k course winds through tree-lined roads and downtown Abacoa! Grab your friends and start a team to help local children fight cancer.

There’s a prize for Best Team Name, Best Fundraiser, Best Fundraising Team, Best Superhero Costume (Adult), Best Superhero Costume (10-18), Best Superhero Costume (10 & under), and Best Dog Costume.

During the 5k course, athletes will earn beads along the way that honor a child’s cancer journey:

• Blue Beads for HOPE
• Red Beads for STRENGTH
• Green Beads for RESILIENCE and TENACITY
• GOLD Beads for BRAVERY at the Finish Line. Gold is the color of childhood cancer! Show your colors!

Participants of both the 5k and the 1 mile Warrior Walk will get GOLD Beads at the Finish.

Through in-store and online fundraising efforts, Smoothie Whirl'd was able to raise $5000 for the Pediatric Oncology Support Team (POST) this year!

This family-friendly event also has a Kidz Fun Zone for the young and young at heart. Kids between ages 4 and 10 can run the 100 yard Young Hero Dash, while kids under 4 can participate in the 10 yard Diaper Dash.
